CCPIT: Bridging China and the Global Business Community
Founded in May 1952, the China Council for the Promotion of International Trade (CCPIT) is a national non-governmental organization dedicated to advancing China’s foreign economic and trade cooperation under the guidance of the Chinese government.
Serving as a vital link between the government and the business community, CCPIT connects Chinese enterprises with global markets by promoting trade, investment, and economic and technical cooperation. Its core mandates include organizing trade delegations, coordinating China’s participation in international expositions—including World Expos—and hosting exhibitions, forums, and business events.
CCPIT also provides comprehensive commercial legal services, such as arbitration, mediation, and the issuance of certificates of origin, while supporting enterprises in intellectual property protection and trade dispute resolution. With 29 overseas representative offices and more than 70 local and industry-based branches across China, CCPIT maintains ties with over 200 countries and regions, serving as a key platform for China’s opening-up and global economic engagement.
