China continues to lead in global patent filings, says WIPO
China was the biggest source of applications for international patents in the world in 2020 for the second consecutive year, according to a report by the World Intellectual Property Organization (WIPO) on Tuesday.
International patent applications via WIPO in 2020 continued to grow amid the COVID-19 pandemic's vast human and economic toll, said the report.
