Date: June 10-14,2020

Venue: National Exhibition and Convention Center (Shanghai)

Introduction:

Thirty years of development has made China a major country in mold manufacturing and consumption, and has established a mold industry system. In 2016, China's mold production capacity reached 230 billion yuan, with sales of about 187 billion yuan. The metal products manufactured through mold forming (also known as equal material manufacturing) were about 80 million tons, which is equivalent to the amount of cutting (reduced material manufacturing); And about 75 million tons of plastic products and 6 million tons of rubber products are almost all manufactured by mold forming. The 230 billion molds support the 25 trillion yuan of product manufacturing, and the mold is called a product amplifier's efficiency amplifier.

In the first half of 2017, the total value of China's mold import and export was US $ 3.4785 billion, an increase of 8.15% year-on-year, of which the total mold export was US $ 2.564 billion, an increase of 13.63%. Product optimization and upgrading have further accelerated, and the comprehensive international competitiveness of China's mold industry has further increased. From Jiangsu, Zhejiang, and Shanghai, which accounted for 39.17% of total exports, the advantages of mold manufacturing around Shanghai have not diminished. Jiangsu, Zhejiang, Shanghai, Shandong, Fujian, Jiangxi, Anhui, and Tianjin account for 8 exports. The total amount of 51.5% is enough to show the good development momentum of the region, and the scale of China's mold market has ranked among the top in the world.

In 2016, the pace of mold technology progress accelerated: during the "Twelfth Five-Year Plan" period, the mold industry authorized 105,789 patents, including 9,939 invention patents. In 2016, the mold industry obtained 25,267 patents, of which 6,427 were invention patents. Research and development investment has accelerated significantly. The new manufacturing industry in the future will present a cross-fusion of technologies and a high degree of product correlation. The high integration of the industrial chain in the mold industry shows that it is walking at the forefront of the world trend.
