Dongshan tourist area comprehensive development project is planned to cover an area of nearly 46 hectares, divided into north and south districts. The south district covers 19 hectares, mainly consists of the Scenic Spot Where Emperor Qin Seek Immortals, a national 4A grade tourist spot. The north district covers 27 hectares, mainly consists of local units and residential with convenient transportation, obviously superior location and commercial development potential.

The project is to integrate the north and south district by comprehensive development and extending the axis of the Scenic Spot Where Emperor Qin Seek Immortals. It’s is to promote the trading business, food and landscape real estate development in the north district by reconstruction of the scenery spot in the south, forming a modern city theme park with Qin and Han cultural connotation and coastal leisure function with the existing human and natural landscape tourist resources.

The project planned construction area is about 540,000 square meters in total, including residential building area of about 423,000 square meters, commercial building area of about 45,000 square meters and about 72,000 square meters for affiliated facilities.

• Investment estimation and fund sources

The total investment is approximately 563 million Dollars, of which, approximately 407 million for the south district and 156 million for the north district. Capital mainly by investment funds.

• Market analysis

After comprehensive development, Dongshan tourist area will become a landmark tourism landscape in Qinhuangdao. It’ll promote the real estate development in the peripheral coastal area and upgrade the urban infrastructure, roads, transportation, service system with excellent economic, social and ecological benefits.

• Construction condition

Dongshan tourist area is located in Haigang District, the center of Qinhuangdao city with convenient transportation, superior geographical location, complete set of infrastructure such as water, electricity, road and communication facilities, good geographical cultural environment and relatively complete urban infrastructure.

• Economic benefit analysis

    Qinhuangdao city is in the first batch of Favorable Tourist City of China. The city is named from the First Emperor of Qin, who comes here for pursuing immortality during his east tour. The Scenic Spot Where Emperor Qin Seek Immortals in the south district is a 4A National Tourist Attraction with annual reception of 200 million visitors. After the completion of the project, Dongshan tourist area will be a symbolic scenic of the city with steady tourist market and will pull the north district real estate rapid appreciation. Its expected investment payback period is 5 years.
